Driving and Grades
I have had some comments about not posting about my recent driving experience and grades, so I thought I should let you know. I went driving on Tuesday and Wednesday, and even though my dad let me drive in a parking lot nothing prepares you for the real thing. Tuesday was an exciting yet stressful day. We began by heading down the mountain. After what seemed like 3 minutes it was time to head home, so I switch with the girl that I drove with, and began climbing back up the mountain. That's when it started to rain, and I mean RAIN it was pouring, so my instructor decided I needed to get off the main highway so I could slow down, and as I started down the road she told me to turn onto I realize it was one of the curviest roads I had ever been on, and it didn't help that it began to pour even harder, but I did it I kept driving and and made back up the mountain. Wednesday was much more relaxed . I had a blast in Winston, and when we got back I was given my Drivers Education Certificate, so now all I have to do is wait till my birthday to get my permit! As for the grades I got my report card in the mail on Tuesday, and I made all A's for the whole year and my GPA is 4.25. I'm so happy, and I'm thankful for all of you for supporting me this year, so I just wanted to say Thank you!

My Daddy
Today I celebrate a man who has always been there for me through good times and bad times, and no matter what I can always count on him.Ever since I was born my daddy was there to pick me up when i fell, read me a bedtime story, or basically do whatever I ask of him no matter how hard that task may have been. And even though I've grown up over the years I'll always be his "little chicken farmer", and as I sit here reflecting on all the things he has done for I can't help but think about the advice my cousin Heather once gave me " Find a man who loves you like your daddy does" and she is absolutely right! No one could ever love me more than my daddy, and though we get in fights sometimes, and seems like we hate each other; we always make up and he will always love me.And as the time for me to drive approaches I know my daddy is worrying about me more than ever because that's what he does, but I know from all of his teaching and lectures that I'll be okay, and that he will always be there to help me if I need it. So just wanted to say I love you Daddy, and thanks for being such a great dad.
And as a wise man once said " Love all, trust few, and do wrong to none."

Peter's laws
I thought you all would enjoy reading these as much as I did. My dad showed me these after hearing about them during his trip to Chicago.
- If anything can go wrong, Fix it. (To heck with Murphy)
- When given a choice -- Take both.
- Multiple projects lead to multiple successes.
- Start at the top and work your way up.
- Do it by the book...but be the author.
- When forced to compromise, ask for more.
- If you can't beat them, join them, and then beat them.
- If it's worth doing, it's got to be done right now.
- If you can't win, change the rules.
- If you can't change the rules, ignore them.
- When faced without a challenge, make one.
- "No" simply means begin again at the next highest level.
- Don't walk when you can run.
- Bureaucracy is a challenge to the be conquered with a righteous attitude, an intolerance for stupidity, and bulldozer when necessary.
- When in doubt: THINK!
- Patience is a virtue but persistence to the point of success is a blessing.
- The squeaky wheel gets replaced.
- The faster you move, the slower time passes, the longer you live.
